On Set with Legends, Laughs, and a Beastly Cab

My day on set for A Complete Unknown was an unforgettable experience, packed with amazing moments both in front of and behind the camera. It's not every day you have the chance to collaborate with such a talented cast and crew while driving a vintage 1960s cab that's both exhilarating and frightening!

A Memorable Experience

Meeting Edward Norton was undoubtedly one of the day's highlights. The acclaimed actor is an exceptional talent, but his effortless charm, and sense of humor took me a bit by surprise. He captivated the whole cast with stories from his career. That same morning I had the plesure of also meeting the incomparable Dan Fogler and we shared a commonin training experience in about Suzuki actin tt's uncommon to meet someone versed in Japanese acting techniques and a genuanly fun guy totalk to.

On Set with Elle Fanning and Will Harrison

After lunch, as I stepped onto the set to film alongside Elle Fanning and Will Harrison, I felt a rush of excitement. Elle, as expected, was an absolute delight to work with—kind, generous, and radiant. Will, playing Bobby Newhart, was a talent! His performance was nothing short of remarkable. Watching these two actors in action was truly inspiring. They brought their A-game, and I was honored to be a small part of a scene that showcased their incredible skills. Together, they really knocked it out of the park, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience on set.

A Nostalgic Ride on Set

Of course, I can’t forget the cab. My ride for the shoot was a beast of a vehicle, straight out of the 1960s, evoking a sense of nostalgia that only a classic can deliver. This iconic automobile featured a “magic button” gear shift, transforming the driving experience into something akin to piloting a spaceship.

While the thrill of handling such an extraordinary machine was exhilarating, it was not without its challenges. In the end, this remarkable cab was not just a mode of transport; it was a character in its own right, adding an unforgettable layer to the entire shoot.

This project reminded me why I love what I do. It’s about the people, the stories, and the little surprises—like driving a vintage cab—that make every experience on set unique. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to see how it all comes together on screen.
