A Chapter Complete: Wrapping Jacqueline Remembers All of This

It’s hard to put into words what it feels like to wrap a project as personal as Jacqueline Remembers All of This. This film has been years in the making, and every step of the journey—from its inception to its final cut—has been a testament to the power of storytelling, community, and perseverance.

The story began as an idea rooted in themes that have always fascinated me: forgiveness, memory, family, physics—and, of course, cheese cubes. (Yes, cheese cubes!) But it wasn’t until we launched the Kickstarter campaign that the dream truly began to take shape. I was blown away by the generosity and support we received—raising $65,000 from backers, with additional help from family and grants. This outpouring of belief in our vision fueled us through every challenge.

Filming this project with my not-for-profit theatre company was nothing short of magical. Together, we turned a script into something alive, infused with heart and humanity. Every scene we shot felt like a moment of collective triumph, and the memories we created on set will stay with me forever.

Now, as we prepare to take Jacqueline Remembers All of This to festivals, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey it’s been. From late-night rewrites to the highs of seeing our cast and crew bring their A-game, this film has been a labor of love in every sense.

To everyone who backed the Kickstarter, supported us behind the scenes, or shared words of encouragement along the way: thank you. This film is as much yours as it is ours.

I’m looking forward to sharing Jacqueline Remembers All of This with the world. Here’s to the next chapter—festival submissions, screenings, and, hopefully, connecting this story to audiences everywhere.

Stay tuned, and thank you for being part of the journey.
